'Ether' was created as a part of Nikki's Containment series, whereby she explored the nature of a thing when it is contained, imprisoned or subjugated.
In this drawing which imitates a trophy box, a pair of kingfisher wings loses none of its' majesty. Though dark, this image has unspeakable grace to it.
