Greeting card - blank inside DLE size only
The artist, Nikki McIvor, has this to say about the drawing, 'Grace': “Grace was originally drawn as a commission for a client visiting from Australia. The Red Fox was introduced into Australia in the 1830s for the traditional English sport of fox hunting. They adapted to their new climate too well, and are now classified as a pest – but still they are quietly loved by a few. In folklore, they are a symbol of cunning and trickery; and often are used to depict intelligence overcoming both malevolence and brute strength. Me personally? I love the childhood story imagery of the fox hunting in the moonlight; dreaming of bringing home a fine, fat goose to feed his family.” Grace was inspired by the song “Far from Grace” by The Doves.
Wild Grey Fox reproduces images by Nikki McIvor onto prints, cards and homewares like tea towels, reusable grocery bags and linen napkins. Our aim - objects that are lovely to use, ecologically responsible and made to last.
